Who says working on your marriage has to feel like work?

Combine the antics of “Tool Time,” the poignancy of a Hallmark card commercial, and the hard-hitting challenges of Vince Lombardi, and you have an idea of what you’ll experience during this dynamic conference.

Welcome Info
First Baptist Church is located in the downtown section of Abilene and, as the name implies, was the first Baptist church organized just shortly after Abilene was founded as a town.  The church has grown since that time, but has also stayed in touch with the community that it helped to start.

This site is designed to give you information about who we are, what we are about and how you can get involved.  Explore, search and then ask questions.  We encourage all three and hope to be able to give you a glimpse of what you can expect to find here at First Baptist.

If you are a first time visitor, we would suggest that start your journey with us by coming to Bible study at 9:00 am on Sunday morning.  We have classes for all ages and folks ready at each entrance to guide you to your destination.  In the Welcome Center more information and people ready to help is available.

Worship begins at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary.  A nursery is provided for children 4 years and younger.

For more information about what to expect, go to the Visitors FAQ.
