“Our hope is to personify what it is First Baptist Abilene is attempting to bring about in our church,” Jimmy said. “We have experienced a newly found desire and passion for missions in our church. Our leaders have been emphasizing and even pleading with our congregation to find out the where and the what it is that we can do to spread God’s love outside the doors of our church. We want to be the pioneers in this particular chapter of our church for what happens when lay people to accept a call and go forth.”
